Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor participation percentages and ensure documentation meets city and airport reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with compliance officers to ensure continuous adherence throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation & Controls

  • Oversee all project documentation systems (Procore, Primavera, etc.) to ensure real-time accuracy.
  • Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, change orders, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements, including FAA and DEN standards.

Risk Management & Safety

  • Identify and mitigate risks specific to aviation construction (phasing, security, operational disruptions).
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including airport-specific safety and security procedures.
  • Coordinate with airport safety teams and regulatory inspectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of construction project management experience, with direct aviation/airport project experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working with airport authorities or aviation clients.
  • Strong understanding of public contracting, FAA regulations, and municipal compliance requirements.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in project management platforms (Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and scheduling.
  • Experience managing MWBE/DBE compliance and reporting requirements.

Core Competencies

  • High attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-security, continuously operating environment.
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with government agencies, airport officials, and diverse subcontractor teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving and risk mitigation mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on aviation/city projects
  • Familiarity with City and County of Denver procurement and compliance systems.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
