Required skills for this Job:
1. Experience with handling large c/c++ code bases, with inter dependancies, understand the module structuring and Object and class level interactions.
2. Understand and be able to update/tweak Make/nmake files for library dependencies
3. Must have worked on more than one compiler, especially gcc. ( Preferably Higher versions 11.x and above) ( Critical skill )
4. Would be good to have some code porting experience from another OS to linux. ( Critical skill )
C / C++ Migrations on Linux
Migrating C++ Executable files from Solaris / AIX to Linux.
Migrating C++ Codes from one flavour of UNIX to another flavour.
5. Analysing core dumps and using gdb ( Critical Skill)

6. Finding dependencies from header files and Namespaces
7. Comfortable with handling pointers, data structures
8. Experience in understanding Unix commands and shell scripting
