KPMG is currently seeking a Director of Tech Engineering to become a vital part of our Tax Ignition Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead responses to clients' security inquiries, ensuring their concerns are addressed effectively.
• Engage directly with clients to clarify their security needs and negotiate compensating controls for any gaps in service offerings.
• Innovate and enhance the client security inquiry process, integrating AI solutions, creating informative whitepapers, managing metrics, and improving the overall client interaction experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Tax technology and business units to align trends with product roadmaps and elevate client security considerations.
• Review and respond to client security assessments and questionnaires efficiently.
• Establish and maintain a knowledge base of frequently asked client questions to support informed responses.

Qualifications:

• At least ten years of relevant experience in IT security compliance, risk management, or associated IT security roles, ideally within a large IT framework or professional services sector.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture, modern software development, and technical security controls, with a preference for Azure experience.
• Exceptional executive presence, negotiation capabilities, presentation skills, and strong communication skills, paired with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record in client-facing roles, adept at managing security inquiries, negotiations, and nurturing client relationships.
• Familiarity with authoritative industry frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO standards; possessing CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Auditor, LSS Green Belt, CRISC, CIPP, CGEIT, or ITIL certifications is advantageous.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
