Role Overview

This role provides high-quality French voice recordings to train and evaluate a next-generation text-to-speech system for an internal customer experience AI agent. You will deliver consistent, neutral, accent-free Standard French performances across conversational, narrative, and instructional scripts. Recordings may be used to create a voice clone for the client’s internal CX agent, so applicants must be comfortable with cloning limited to this use.

Key Responsibilities

• Record clear, natural, and expressive speech across diverse scripts, including conversational, narrative, and instructional material.
• Maintain consistent voice character, accent, tone, pacing, and pronunciation across sessions.
• Follow detailed recording instructions for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
• Provide multiple takes when requested, varying emotion, emphasis, and style as directed.
• Understand and acknowledge that the recordings will be used exclusively for the client’s internal CX AI Agent and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for other products, datasets, or purposes.

Qualifications

• Native or native-level French speaker with a standard, neutral French delivery, free of strong regional or foreign-language influences.
• Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet recording space, and pop filter.
• Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range, with the ability to follow scripts precisely while sounding natural.
• Reliable availability of 5 to 10 hours per week for the project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recording for TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
• Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles, for example conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm.

Work Terms

• Remote position, location flexible; candidates may be located anywhere provided they deliver neutral, standard French.
• Hourly engagement, with an expected commitment of 5 to 10 hours per week.

Compensation

• $50.00 per hour.

Eligibility

• You must be comfortable with your voice being cloned for use in the client’s internal CX AI Agent. Only apply if you agree to voice cloning for this specific purpose.
• Your recordings will be used exclusively by the client for their internal CX AI Agent and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for other purposes.
