Overview Duration: 1 year with possible extension - based on performance and business needs Daily Work Schedule Expectations: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm PT Job Description: To support the daily operations of the peptide array synthesis lab by performing essential laboratory duties, including reagent preparation, inventory management, and maintenance of lab equipment—to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe operations that drive innovation and advance scientific programs. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry). Experience with laboratory techniques and equipment (can be from coursework, internships, or previous employment). Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Completing initial and ongoing required training, and following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) are essential to safely performing duties Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. as required for laboratory duties. Duties / Responsibilities Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and laboratory equipment to assist in instrument setup. Estimated hours per week: 25 Wash laboratory dishes and clean instrumentation as part of routine maintenance. Estimated hours per week: 3 Maintain laboratory cleanliness following established SOPs. Estimated hours per week: 5 Participate in inventory management, ordering, and stocking of laboratory supplies and consumables. Estimated hours per week: 5 Participate in hazardous waste bulking and disposal following established SOPs.
