Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of MDS experience including ICD-10 coding for PDPM in a LTC/SAR setting, with emphasis on choosing the highest ranking clinical category possible and capturing NTAs for maximum reimbursement. Hours will vary according to the number of admissions each day with the candidate being responsible for identifying payer source, opening all Entry MDS and setting ARDs for Admission and 5-day assessments as well as entering and ranking all ICD-10 codes based on the hospital discharge summary and accompanying documents.
