Practice Administrator / Operations Director - Established OBGYN Practice
Location: Houston, TX (Memorial/Katy)

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 + Benefits

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Practice Administrator to take full ownership of operations in a well-established, physician-led, elite OBGYN practice. This is not an entry-level management role. We are looking for a proven operator who can independently run the business side of the practice, lead a team, and drive performance.

This Role is For Someone Who:
• Has successfully managed a medical practice and understands both operations and revenue
• Is confident making decisions and solving problems without constant direction
• Is comfortable holding staff accountable and maintaining high standards
• Is highly organized, systems-oriented, and technology-savvy
• Takes initiative and follows through

Key Responsibilities:
• Full oversight of day-to-day operations and staff management
• Ownership of revenue performance, including billing oversight, collections, and workflow optimization
• Optimization of scheduling, clinic flow, and patient experience
• Implementation of systems and processes to improve efficiency and profitability
• Management of vendors, HR processes, and administrative functions
• Identification and resolution of operational and financial inefficiencies

Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years managing a medical practice (multi-provider strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and practice performance metrics
• Demonstrated leadership experience with accountability and team management
• Comfortable with EMR systems, reporting, and operational data (eClinicalWorks experience preferred but not required)
• Self-directed, proactive, and results-oriented

Important

This role requires a high level of independence and accountability. The physician-owner is seeking a leader who can take ownership of operations-not someone who requires day-to-day direction.
