Allied Digestive Health, a partner-led group of gastroenterology specialists across 45-plus offices and endoscopy centers, is seeking a Part Time or Per Diem CRNA to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality anesthesia services for patients undergoing a variety of gastrointestinal procedures in our outpatient endoscopy centers. Working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment that emphasizes compassionate care, you will partner closely with gastroenterologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe, comfortable, and efficient care for every patient. As a CRNA with Allied Digestive Health, you will perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans, and deliver monitored anesthesia care (MAC), moderate to deep sedation, and other appropriate anesthetic techniques for endoscopic procedures. You will be responsible for continuous monitoring and management of airway, ventilation, hemodynamics, and level of sedation, promptly recognizing and responding to any changes in patient status or procedure-related complications. You will oversee patients throughout the peri-procedural course, including recovery and discharge, ensuring a smooth transition of care and a positive patient experience. You will use your clinical expertise to interpret physiologic monitors such as EKG, pulse oximetry, and capnography, manage perioperative pain and nausea, and apply current best practices in GI anesthesia. The position requires meticulous documentation in the electronic medical record, adherence to infection control practices, and compliance with institutional policies as well as regulatory and accreditation standards. You will contribute to an environment of continuous improvement by participating in quality and patient safety initiatives, standardizing protocols where appropriate, and supporting a culture of accountability and respect. This part-time or per diem role offers flexibility while allowing you to work with an experienced team in a high-volume GI setting that blends cutting-edge medicine with compassionate, patient-centered service. You will be expected to maintain all required certifications, remain current with developments in anesthesia and gastroenterology practice, and communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families about the anesthesia process, risks, benefits, and recovery expectations.
