Job Description

IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is the premier provider of outpatient Physical & Hand Therapy in the Northwest. Deeply embedded in our communities, we strive to make a positive impact where we live, work, play-and compete. As a company, IRG provides a fun, dynamic, and supportive environment for both patients and employees, with a strong culture rooted in teamwork, growth, and excellence.

THE POSITION:

We're seeking a Physical Therapist with strong interest or experience in sports medicine, orthopedic rehab, or athlete performance. Our Snoqualmie location is uniquely positioned directly above one of the region's largest hockey complexes, creating an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with youth, adult, and competitive hockey athletes, along with a highly active community. You'll treat a mix of general outpatient orthopedics and sports-driven cases, including acute injuries, overuse conditions, return-to-play programming, and performance optimization. This setting is ideal for therapists who want to advance their sports skillset, collaborate with community athletic programs, and work in a highly active, sports-centric environment.

We offer enhanced compensation, AI documentation assistance, a patient-centered care model, flexible scheduling, and extensive mentorship with clear growth pathways-including sports specialization.

If you're looking for a workplace where you can work with athletes, expand your sports clinical skills, and grow professionally, IRG is the place.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
  • Conduct comprehensive orthopedic and sports-focused evaluations, including movement screens and return-to-sport readiness assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans addressing injury rehab, performance goals, and sport-specific demands.
  • Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular training, and sport-specific conditioning.
  • Implement hockey-relevant interventions (skating mechanics training, lower-extremity power development, shoulder stability, etc.) as appropriate to your skill set.
  • Document and monitor patient progress with timely adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, orthopedic specialists, athletic trainers, and coaching staff as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury-prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Support a team-oriented clinic culture and assist colleagues as needed.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
  • 1-2 years of experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
  • Experience working with athletes, especially hockey, skating, or field/court sports.
  • Strong interest in sports medicine, rehab progression, and return-to-play.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to lift, bend, squat, reach, and perform physical demonstrations with patients, including athletes.
  • Comfort working at a computer station for documentation needs.
  • Ability to provide your own transportation to and from the IRG clinic.
PAY & BENEFITS:
  • Base Compensation: $80,000-$93,000 annually, depending on experience and certifications.
  • Enhanced Compensation Program: Earn up to an additional 20% of base salary based on client care.
  • Additional Benefits (based on eligibility):
    • Paid Time Off (Holidays, Vacation, Sick, Personal)
    • Continuing Education Allocation
    • Student Loan Repayment Program
    • 401(k) with employer match
    • Medical, Dental & Vision Plans
    • HSA & FSA options
    • Long-Term Disability
    • Life and AD&D Insurance
