Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced hands on Assistant Director Of Security to joing TEAMBLEAU! You will be responsible for assisting the Director Of Security in providing a safe and secure hotel environment for all guests and employees through effective management of security personnel.

Examples of duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Investigate accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities.
• Develop and maintain the Hotel Safety Program.
• Implement checks to ensure all reports and logs have been properly completed.
• Schedule labor force and assign work for efficient use of equipment and personnel.
• Ensure compliance by all security personnel with Company and departmental rules and procedures.
• Recommend, manage, and monitor work of staff as well as hiring, communicating, coaching, and building relationships.
• Maintain a working relationship with local, municipal, and governmental law enforcement agencies, insurance carriers, etc.
• Assume Director Of Security responsibilities during absence.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to develop strong professional relationships with vendors, guests and employees.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment.
• High school or equivalent education required. Heavy law enforcement, security, Resort Hospitality background preferred.
• Minimum of five years hospitality security management experience. Three years supervisory experience required.
