Job Title: Senior C++ Developer (Contract)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $85/hr (W2)

Role Overview:
Lead design, development, and deployment of high-performance systems in an object/service-oriented architecture. Provide technical leadership, collaborate with architects and teams, and ensure solutions meet business requirements in a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy C++ solutions with a focus on templates and multithreading
• Analyze requirements, produce technical designs, and provide accurate effort estimates
• Develop and maintain applications using AMQ and Oracle
• Perform troubleshooting and support across development, QA, and production environments
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce industry and company standards
• Create documentation for designs, tests, and issue resolutions
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams with Product, QA, UAT, and PMO

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of C++ development with strong expertise in C++ Templates and Multithreading
• Experience with AMQ and Oracle
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
• Strong relational DB and SQL knowledge
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Skills:

• Background in Securities/Banking/Financial Services
• Experience with Java IDE (IntelliJ), Unix shell scripting, XML/Web Services
• Familiarity with issue management systems and wikis
