Office Assistant
Assist the College of Business (F&FCOB) in clerical/administrative support. The Office Assistant should create and maintain a positive atmosphere and serve as liaison between the students and faculty. Excellent customer service should be the standard.
Perform receptionist responsibilities by greeting and directing students and visitors
Assist with student needs
Assist with reporting
Assist with maintaining records
Monitor social media engagements
Coordinate Professional Development Events and point system for the F&FCOB
Assist with event planning
Assist with website maintenance
Assist with special needs of the F&FCOB
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience/Skills/Abilities:
Some administrative experience preferred
Professional demeanor
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Accurate keyboarding skills
Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Good reading, written, and grammatical skills
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with webpage design and social media platforms
Willingness to learn Banner system and other applications
Self-motivated, flexible, ability to multi-task
Must have the ability to effectively deal with persons from a variety of cultural backgrounds
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
